BECOME A BRISBANE AIRSHOW VENDOR (Foodie or Merchant)

Locals and visitors from around Australia are expected to attend the Brisbane Airshow in 2020. 

The Brisbane Airshow will provide enthusiasts a venue to display a variety of modern, vintage and warbird aircraft. The Brisbane Airshow is a two day event allowing patrons to Fly-In and enjoy a rockabilly atmosphere. Car Clubs and Car Enthusiasts will be provided an opportunity to display their vehicles and engage in a variety of Club competitions and judging activities. The Airshow will include evening food as well as band activities on the evening of Saturday the 4th of July 2020.

Accordingly, we are seeking high-quality professional stalls and buskers to provide food and product sales, all in an atmosphere which complements the Airshow’s rockabilly theme. General trading hours are expected to be 10am to 5pm on both days.

A catering opportunity exists for the right vendor to gain exclusive rights to  the VIP pavilion during the Airshow.

Can I sell food or merchandise at the Airshow?

Yes, absolutely. But you will need all the appropriate food preparation licenses and the standard insurances etc.

What does a site area cost?

There are three (3) classifications of Vendor Licenses, each attracting 1 or 2 day Lot Fees. These include :

  • Caravan Vendor License (2 day only)
  • Marquee Vendor Licenses (2 and 1 day), and
  • Busker Licenses (2 and 1 day).

Various area/ lot sizes are available, with additional lot areas for Seating etc. The Fees are inline with industry practice and are available after application.

Do I need to sell my products at the Brisbane Airshow during the evening and or after 5pm ?

Trading Hours are 10am to 5pm daily. A number of Food Stalls and Buskers will be sought to operate on the evening of the 3rd and 4th of July 2020. Unless otherwise arranged you will not be required to sell your products in the evening.

What do I need to start trading at the Brisbane Airshow?

Each stallholder needs a Licence to Trade, Public Liability Insurance, Tables, Lights, Power Cables (if required), Water Storage (if required) an approved marquee and 30kg weights per leg. Power is available at an additional price. It is recommended that no money be outlaid until you have been notified that your application has been approved, and you are sure you are purchasing approved equipment to withstand the outdoor conditions reasonably expected. 

When do applications close, and when will I be notified?

Applications will be processed on a “first in best dressed” basis. Merchant Vendor applications close on the 29th of May 2020, and will be notified on or before the 5th of June 2020. Food Vendor applications will close on the 10th of April 2020, and will be notified on or before the 24th of April 2020.

Can I camp overnight?

Yes, absolutely! Camping is available overnight. Unfortunately, Camping Fees will apply, but at a discounted rate for our Vendors. (Sorry but we need to cover the costs of toilet and showers!). See our Camping Terms & Conditions here.

  • Please register below. Once registered, you will be directed to our Vendor’s Application Form. Please ensure you complete all questions on the application form and then ‘Submit’.
  • Please be patient, as we will touch base with you approximately 6 weeks before the Airshow.
  • Applications will be processed on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis.
