2-3 July 2022
GOTTA GET THAT SHOT?
If your keen to see the Airshow and have a bit of an Aviation Photographers bug, then maybe come join us at the 2022 Brisbane Airshow.
Visitors from around Australia are expected to attend the Brisbane Airshow in 2022, and we are seeking keen Photographers to help us record the event from the 1st to the 3rd of July 2022.
The 2022 Brisbane Airshow will offer Warbird, Vintage and Modern aircraft on display, both in the air and on the ground. You’ll no doubt acknowledge that most aviation enthusiasts are also ‘rev heads’ at heart, and so as not to disappoint, we’ve set the airshow amidst a 1950’s rockabilly theme offering Car and Motorcycle Clubs an opportunity to display their vehicles and engage in a variety of Club competitions and Judging activities.
With camping on-site, evening food and band activities available on the Saturday night, a great time should be enjoyed by all!
So … if you’re interested in helping out, are keen on Warbirds and everything Aviation, and a bit ‘rev-head’, then checkout the FAQs and follow ‘the process’ detailed below.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the 2022 Brisbane Airshow!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For the final word on any questions, refer to the Australian Airdisplays Pty Ltd Contractor Terms and Conditions here.
What does it cost to be a Photographer?
Nothing ! You’ll get to be part of a great team, and can enjoy taking happy-snaps all day! Many of our photographers choose to assist with our VIP’s on guided tours of the aircraft ‘out on the line’. This gives that added opportunity for some great close-up shots!
Do I need to attend on both days ?
Yes, we need our photographers to be available on both the Saturday and Sunday.
What hours will do I work each day ?
We are looking for a full coverage of the event. Accordingly, you will be asked to cover the event with access to specific areas being shared via a formal schedule.
When do I need to be at the Airshow?
Depending on requirements, you may be required at the Airshow as early as 6am or as late as 6pm.
Can I camp overnight?
Yes, absolutely! Camping and tent rental at the Tent Motel are available. Unfortunately, fees will apply, but at a discounted rate for our Airshow personnel. (Sorry but we need to cover the costs of toilet and showers!) Please take a moment to review our Camping Terms & Conditions here.
